How do I activate Flare through foundU?

You can switch Flare on directly through the Integration Centre in your foundU platform. Navigate to Integrations > Integration Centre > Benefits, then select Connect on the Flare tile. It takes just a few minutes and your employees can access their benefits straight away.

Does it cost anything to set up?

No. Flare is completely free for both your business and your employees. foundU covers the cost of the integration as part of your foundU service.

Do I need to contact Flare directly to get started?

Not to connect — you can do that yourself through the Integration Centre. Once connected, a Flare representative will be in touch within 3–5 business days to finalise your account and walk you through any customisation options.

How do employees access their benefits?

Employees access Flare directly through the foundU Employee App — the same app they already use for timesheets, payslips, and rosters. There's no separate login or additional app to download.

Do employees need to sign up separately?

No. Once you've activated Flare through the Integration Centre, it becomes available to your employees automatically through their existing foundU access.

How do employees actually use the discounts?

Employees can purchase discounted vouchers through the Flare platform, which they then use at the relevant retailer. Some offers provide real-time savings at point of purchase, while others work through voucher or cashback models.

Can I control which benefits are available to my employees?

Yes. Flare allows for some content curation — so if there are specific offers you don't want visible to your workforce, you can work with your Flare representative to adjust what's shown. This is typically discussed during the onboarding call after connection.

Will Flare automatically update with new offers each quarter?

Yes. Flare regularly updates the discounts and brands available on the platform. You don't need to do anything — new offers become available to your employees automatically as they're added.
